New Goebel Media Group Website

GMG

Web design firms often have little time to spend on designing their own websites.  As the old proverb says– the shoemakers’ children always go without shoes.  However, we have finally launched the new and improved GoebelMedia.com. We are excited about having a fresh and modern look and a lot more quality information to educate our clients about what we do.

Branding Your Company: 5 Qualities of a Great Logo

Great branding starts with a great logo! Here are some tips for making sure your logo is up to par with examples of logos we have designed.

1. Keep it simple. The most memorable logos are not cluttered and easy to see and read. Most people are not going to stare at your logo but glance at it to get an idea of what your business is all about. You should shy away from graphics that are confusing or too abstract.

In this logo designed for “The Green Boutique,” the font choices and imagery is simple, subtle but gets the message across effectively.

2. It should look good in black and white or color.  Your logo will most likely be seen in black and white at some point, at the bottom of a document or something similar. Make sure your logo lends itself to be seen either way.

This logo designed for EAS, or Electrical Accessory Sales, lends itself to be seen in color, grayscale, or black and white.

3. The color scheme should go well with your business.  Whether bold or bright colors are used should depend on your business. The color scheme says just as much about your business as the rest of the logo.

 MC
Milledgeville Cares is a non-profit organization that brings agencies and faith-based intitutions together to provide support for those in need in the community. Soft, warm colors express the organization’s purpose well.

4. It should stand the test of time. Logos that are too modern often go out of style quickly and make your business look out of date. Keep font choices simple and classic.

Timeless fonts, imagery, and color scheme was used to create this logo for Dyer & Johnson Insurance Repair.

5. Avoid elaborate details or have a version without them. Some logos look better with a subtle gradient or shadow but you should have versions without to use for different mediums.

The Outdoor Creations logo was created with a subtle gradient but for some mediums, solid colors always work best.

5 Reasons to Hire GMG for your Web Design & Internet Marketing Needs

  1. We are affordable. All of our services are reasonably priced. Most Atlanta web design firms won’t design a website for less than $5,000. There is no reason a basic website with a few pages should cost that much. We understand the struggles of having a small business and think all businesses should have the opportunity to have a professionally designed website for a reasonable cost. Whether you want a basic business card website, a website designed using a template, a custom designed website, or a fully-customized site with a back-end that allows you to change your content, we have a solution to fit your needs.
  2. We are knowledgeable. Because the internet is constantly evolving, we believe in continuing education. Keeping up with all of the current trends is part of our job. We understand what internet users want, how search engines work, and how to use the internet to drive people to your place of business.
  3. We are problem solvers. Need help getting your business noticed online? Driving more people to your current website? Getting customers to return to your store? That’s where we come in. Let us worry about these problems while you focus on what you do best– running your business.
  4. We are good communicators. We listen, we give professional feedback, and we stay in touch. Your internet presence should reflect your business, and we are here to listen to your goals and ideas while incorporating the best practices in our field. We also continuously maintain contact with our clients during every step of their project(s).
  5. We are dedicated. We are 100% committed to our business and customer service. If you call us, we will answer the phone or call you back as soon as possible. If you e-mail us, we will e-mail you back. In working hard for your business, we are working for our business’s success as well.

Website Launched For Ocmulgee CASA

As part of our free website design campaign for Milledgeville non-profit organizations, we designed and developed a custom website for Ocmulgee CASA. The site makes it easy for people in the community to learn more about CASA and volunteer their services. We are so proud to be supporting such an important local cause.  Check out the site here: http://ocmulgeecasa.org.

The site allows users to get information, make a donation and even sign up to become a CASA volunteer.  The site is managed through a CMS which allows CASA to easily make updates to site content themselves.
